Mr. Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) was spinning some interesting theories at The CW upfronts when he spoke to The Insider about Elena’s(Nina Dobrev) new vampire status. Basically, he doesn’t think everyone’s favorite doppelganger will be fanged for long.

“I think a lot of [Season 4] is gonna be about trying to figure out a way to reverse that,” said Paul. “I’m not sure if Elena’s gonna be a vampire for six, seven seasons … a lot of it depends on if it’s working.” In Paul’s opinion, if things get “boring” with so many vampires running around, the writers will find a way to reverse the curse.

Ahem, you have a witch at your disposal. As Paul notes, Bonnie (Kat Graham) can spell her way out of anything. “We can concoct a spell at any moment for any given story line. Uh, we’re in a bind. Bonnie. Done!” laughs Wesley. A spell for turning vampires back into humans definitely exists — transforming her children back from their vampire state was once part of Esther’s (Alice Evans) plan to rid the world of Originals. With Esther dead and Bonnie not on speaking terms with her witchy friends, we can definitely see Season 4 be about tracking down this powerful spell.

After all, Elena never wanted to be a vampire. Even Nina isn’t sure she wants to stick with a set of fangs. She told The Insider, “part of me is upset by the fact that she’s a vampire, because I kind of had the best of both worlds. I got to be both, and now I’m not a human. No one on our show is human anymore.”

Sigh. Everyone always forgets about Matt (Zach Roerig).

The real question is, if Elena decides to return to her normal human life, will either of the Salvatore brothers follow her?

Ελληνιστί: Τα ημερολόγια ενός βρυκόλακα. Ή βαμπίρ. Ή αιματορουφήχτρα. Ή όπως θέλετε πείτε το, δε μας πειράζει. Τέλος πάντων, ο τίτλος είναι παρ’ όλα αυτά κατατοπιστικός. Έχουμε ένα βαμπίρ που γράφει στο ημερολόγιό του τα δρώμενα και τις ανησυχίες του. Να μην το μπερδέψουμε με άλλες σειρές που εξιστορούν την πλοκή μέσω του ημερολογίου, εδώ έχουμε μόνο την σύνοψη.

 

Πάμε να δούμε και την πλοκή: Η Ελένα, ένα απλό, καθημερινό και έφηβο κορίτσι της διπλανής πόρτας, μένει σε πολύ μικρή ηλικία ορφανή, με αποτέλεσμα να μένει με την πολύ cool θεία της (Τζένα, σ’ αγαπώ) και τον αδερφό της σ’ ένα τέλειο σπιτάκι των προαστίων (ξέρω, λατρεμένα, κι εμένα μ’ αρέσουν). Ακόμη, η ζωή της περνά αρμονικά, μέχρι τη στιγμή που εμφανίζεται στο σχολείο ένας καινούριος μαθητής, ο bimbo Στέφαν Σαλβατόρ (ή Σαλβατόρε, οι απόψεις διίστανται). Ως εκ θαύματος, ο Στέφαν είναι σκυθρωπός, αντικοινωνικός και οδηγάει μία τέλεια vintage κουρσάρα. Αυτό μπορεί να θυμίσει κάτι σε διάφορα κορίτσια, αλλά δεν ξέρω τι *γκουχ*twilight*γκουχ*. Η Ελένα προσεγγίζει τον Στέφαν, και τα φτιάχνουν (σοκ, δεν το περίμενε κανείς).

Ωστόσο, η χαρά τους δε θα κρατήσει πολύ, αφού στην πόλη όπου ζουν αυξάνονται δραματικά οι δολοφονίες, για τις οποίες υπαίτιος δεν είναι άλλος απ’ τον Ντέιμον, αλλό ένα bimbo-vampire, ο οποίος τυχαίνει να είναι κι ο μεγαλύτερος αδελφός του Στέφαν.

Στη συνέχεια αποδεικνύεται ότι τα δύο βαμπιρο-αδέρφια είναι από 150 χρονών ο καθένας, κι ότι μεταξύ τους υπάρχει μία μακροπρόθεσμη βεντέτα. Η βεντέτα αυτή γεννήθηκε όταν πρωτο-έγιναν βαμπίρ και διεκδικούσαν την ίδια κοπελιά, η οποία τυχαίνει να είναι και σωσίας της Ελένα.

Ακούγεται πολύ συνηθισμένη πλοκή, το ξέρω. Βαμπίρ και πάλι βαμπίρ. Να πω και την αλήθεια: εγώ δεν είμαι και θαυμαστής των βουτυρο-βαμπίρ, τύπου λυκόφως. Είμαι πιο πολύ των Underworld και Blade. Αλλά και πάλι, καλά το μαντέψατε, έκανα λάθος.

Η σειρά αυτή λατρεύτηκε πολύ, και έψαχνα το λόγο. Κατάλαβα ότι μετά το τέλος του απίστευτου Smallville, το κενό-κρατήρας που δημιουργήθηκε έπρεπε να γεμίσει επειγόντως! Και το VD ήρθε να δώσει τη λύση. Κλασσική πόλη των προαστίων, με λυκειόπαιδα να αντιμετωπίζουν διάφορα supernatural προβλήματα. Λατρεία!

Και γι’ αυτό απέχει εκατομμύρια μίλια απ’ το Λυκόφως. Γιατί τα προβλήματά τους δεν είναι του τύπου: «τι χρώμα νυφικό θα φορέσει η πρωταγωνίστρια» ή «σε ποιο νησί της Καραϊβικής θα περάσουμε το μήνα του μέλιτος». Τα προβλήματά τους κυμαίνονται από το να μη μεταλλαχθούν σε κάποιο πλάσμα μέχρι το να επιβιώσουν μέχρι τη νύχτα.

Ποιοι θα τη λατρέψουν; Αυτοί που λάτρευαν το Smallville, τη Buffy και γενικά τα ερωτικά τρίγωνα. Ακόμα και οι φαν των Charmed θα μαγευτούν.

Ποιοι θα τη μισήσουν; Όσοι μισούν τη βαμπιρομανία, και μόνο αυτοί. Γενικά, η σειρά βλέπεται πολύ εύκολα, και μόνο αυτοί που έχουν σιχαθεί τους βρικόλακες που ξεφυτρώνουν από παντού θα το μισήσουν.

Και μία υπόδειξη για τους λάτρεις του True Blood: κακά τα ψέματα, το VD δεν πιάνει και πολλά μπροστά στο είδωλο. Ο Μπιλ, η Σούκι και ο Έρικ έχουν χειρότερα πράγματα να αντιμετωπίσουν, και γενικά είναι, ξέρετε, τζαμάουα. Για να λέμε τα σύκα-σύκα…!

Για να κλείσουμε την κριτική της σειράς, πρέπει να τονίσω ότι είναι πολλά υποσχόμενη. Ξεκινά δυναμικά με μία καλή πρώτη σεζόν, απογειώνεται με μία καλύτερη δεύτερη, ενώ ήδη βρίσκεται σε τροχιά γύρω απ’ τη Γη με την άψογη τρέχουσα Τρίτη σεζόν. Παραμένει μόνο να δούμε με αγωνία πως θα εξελιχθεί η πλοκή και να μας δώσει κι άλλα τέλεια επεισόδια.

Υ.Σ. Αν χειριστούν καλά τις βαμπιροϊστορίες, μας δίνουν διαμαντάκια τελικά. Και το είχα παρεξηγήσει.

MANILA, Philippines  – American actor Ian Somerhalder, known for his role as Damon Salvatore in hit series "The Vampire Diaries," has announced he will be coming to the Philippines to endorse Filipino clothing brand Penshoppe.

In his official Twitter account on Thursday, Somerhalder said: “See you soon PHILIPPINES! ;) Let’s rock this #PENSHOPPEAllStars.”

“Penshoppe All Stars” is a campaign of the clothing apparel which includes famous international endorsers.
This was also confirmed by PR Asia Worldwide’s lead publicist Joyce A. Ramirez in an official statement.
Ramirez said Somerhalder has accepted Penshoppe’s offer and is now officially part of “All Stars.”
“Penshoppe is very excited to work with Ian and our team is doing everything to make this a truly memorable visit for him.

He will be staying in the Philippines for a week to shoot his campaign at an environmental-friendly resort as well as participate in a press conference to be held in Manila,” she said.
Ramirez also said that as of writing, Somerhalder is already en route to Manila.
Ramirez said the Penshoppe team is hoping that “Ian gets a chance to meet his adoring Filipino fans who have supported him in 'The Vampire Diaries' for the last two top-rating seasons.”
“Fans can also look forward to as Ian visits a flagship Penshoppe store,” Ramirez said.

This is Somerhalder’s first trip to the Philippines.
Hollywood star Zac Efron earlier signed an endorsement deal with Penshoppe for the same campaign and his billboards now appear across Metro Manila.

Earlier reports said Efron will also be visiting the country.
Penshoppe’s other foreign endorsers include “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick and Thai actor MARIO Maurer.

The first batch of Teen Choice Award nominations for 2012 have just been announced and it's no surprise that vampires are still the hottest topic in town. No one can resist The Smolder Holder, nor should they try. That's right, The CW hitThe Vampire Diaries it already leading the pack, earning an impressive six nominations, surpassing the likes of American Idol and Justin Bieber who each received five nods, respectively. 
Ryan Gosling, 21 Jump Street, and those wildly popular Avengers also get a few well deserved nods amid the slew of movie categories.




The Teen Choice Awards were established in 1999 for the purpose of honoring the year's biggest achievements in music, movies, sports, television, fashion and more. Teens between the ages of 13-19 are able to vote, so being a teen at heart (sadly) doesn't count. The show will air live on July 22 at 8 PM ET on Fox.

Vampire Diaries fans  were horrified when Klaus’ body was burned on the season finale, leading many to believe that Joseph Morgan wouldn’t return for season four. (Joseph tweeting “it’s been one hell of a ride” didn’t exactly ease our minds, either.) But when HollywoodLife.com chatted with Candice Accola at The CW’s Upfront presentation May 17, she was more than happy to set the record straight.

“I don’t think they necessarily closed that story line at all,” she told me. “Characters take breathers … so I’m sure he’ll return.”

OK, you can officially breathe a massive sight of relief. (I know I did!) I also had to ask Candice for her thoughts on new vampire Elena (Nina Dobrev), specifically whether she expects Caroline to take her under her wing and show her the ways of the fang.

“I think she’ll definitely be a part of helping Elena through the transition,” she said. “I can’t see it all going perfectly, but I’m really excited.”

As for how Candice thinks Caroline will react when she discovers that Tyler (Michael Trevino) is actually possessed by Klaus, she had one word to describe her emotional state: ”disturbed!”

Vampire Diaries season 4 Mike Trevino,talks new Tyler,Klaus spoilers & more,new clip. Hollywood Life recently caught up to Vampire Diaries,werewolf Tyler Lockwood,star Michael Trevino at the recent CW Upfronts event,and he revealed what he’d like to see go down in season 4,and more (video below).

In the clip, Mike said that he wants to play Klaus a little bit more in season 4,and see how far they can go with the whole Klaus/Tyler body switch. He also commented on seeing how far the Klaus/Caroline relationship can go without Klaus coming in,and messing up everything.

He also talked about how difficult it is too shoot those wicked werewolf transformation scenes. It takes very long hours to shoot them,and he has to growl into a mic for long periods of time,which is totally not flattering.

But,yeah,he was really adamant about wanting to play, Klaus’ character a little while longer,so we may see him play Klaus for a few more episodes when season 4 stars back up. Check it out,below.

Nina Dobrev: Elena's 'Going To Be A Terrible Vampire'

"I think she's going to be a terrible vampire because she doesn't want to be a vampire, so she's gonna kinda be like a Stefan vampire," Nina Dobrev said of her character. "I don't know—she's going to probably try to eat bunnies instead of people. It's going to be no fun. But it's going to be fun for me. Then Katherine will be eating people and Elena will try to save the people."

Co-star Candice Accola wasn't sure about Elena's vampiric abilities, but she did wonder at what point all of these supernatural shenanigans will be too much for the town's residents to take.

"I don't know," Candice admitted. "That's going to be the thing. I feel like all these characters—it's getting to the point, what's going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back? What's going to be the breaking point? You know Elena's already had a lot of loss in her life, and even for her brother, Jeremy: What's going to be his breaking point?"

Speaking of Jeremy, his real-life doppelganger, Steven R. McQueen, also hinted that Elena's change may spell bad things for our favorite mortal.

"I think it gives us a lot of interesting places to go and see what happens next season," Steven said. "Jeremy's tried to—his main objective is to keep the people he loves safe, and he's failed doing that with his parents and some people he's loved and now his sister. So I think at the end of the day, through these three seasons, he's grown really callous, and it's just going to add to that."

Vampire Diaries Season 4 Producer Delivered More Vampire Elena Spoiler Teasers With EW

Vampire Diaries season 4 producer delivered more vampire Elena spoiler teasers with EW. Recently, Entertainment Weekly  chatted with VampireDiaries producer Julie Plec,and she spilled some new details of what we can expect to see from our new Elena vampire in season 4.

First,she revealed that making Elena a vampire was in the works for about 2 years. They didn’t want to turn her as soon as they did in the books,because they wanted to build up a storyline for her first,and make her go through some stuff. Then,finally, when she was left with no grownup, no adult supervision, no parent,and no guardian,they felt it was time for her to experience the next evolution of her journey. The vampire journey.

She went on to reveal that all the training,getting in touch with her physical self, all the grief,all the emotion that she went through, and all the compassion that she has for everybody, will all play into what kind of person and vampire she will actually be, “if she should choose to see the transition through.”

Next, she revealed that there will be a discussion on whether or not Elena wants to fully transition into a fully functioning vampire in the beginning,but it look like they’re going to push forward,full throttle. They will also answer the question of if Elena knew that Meredith gave her the vampire blood when she told Stefan to save Matt first,which is quite interesting.

Finally,she revealed that Elena will still be committed to loving Stefan,despite realizing she actually met Damon before she met Stefan. We’ll also see Elena be with Stefan for quite a while. Stay tuned.

Όπως και όλοι οι άλλοι ηθοποιοί βέβαια αλλά το Νινάκι μας έκλεψε την παράσταση.Εντυπωσιακή και η εμφάνιση της Κάτ, αρκετά εκκεντρική. Ο Michael Trevino είπε ότι έχει περιέργεια να δει στο πρώτο επεισόδειο της σεζόν πώς θα είναι ώς Klaus: ''I would imagine the first episode of season four I’ll be playing Klaus, but I want to see how long we can push it.I hope it lasts ”.

The Vampire Diaries - Season 4 - Press Release / TV Schedule

Based on the best-selling book series, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is the story of two vampire brothers, obsessed with the same gorgeous girl, who are battling to control the fate of an entire town. In season one, Stefan and Damon Salvatore returned to their hometown of Mystic Falls, Virginia, for very different reasons. As far as ghouls go, Mr Paul Wesley, 29, is a particularly good-looking example. But the star of the hit teen drama The Vampire Diaries, in which he plays Stefan Salvatore, a Mr James Dean-type bloodsucker with a heart of gold, prefers Count Orlok from the 1922 horror Nosferatu: "Because he was so mangled and warped. I almost feel as if when older people hear the word 'vampire' they cringe and think, 'Oh great, teen bullsh** and pretty girls running around.' But a vampire used to be hideous, a monstrosity. That's interesting to me."

Mr Wesley, who boasts natural fangs of his own (he attributes them to night-time teeth grinding), was already an acting veteran when he secured a role in The Vampire Diaries. As a teenager he transferred New Jersey high schools to accommodate a role in the daytime soap opera Another World, and later dropped out of university to work full time. The risks paid off: an avalanche of TV roles followed, including recurring parts in Wolf Lake, Everwood and Army Wives.

Prolific is one way to describe Mr Wesley's career so far, but it isn't just down to luck, with his perseverance playing a big part. "One year I had a really bad experience where I didn't get a pilot that I really wanted and it psychologically damaged me. I had to retrain myself to have the confidence to go in and do what I do as an actor," he continues. "I know there are always going to be ups and downs - I don't care if you're Johnny Depp or Ryan Gosling - you're always aspiring."

When The Vampire Diaries debuted in 2009 it was considered an improbable success despite its eye-candy cast and the pedigree of its creator, Mr Kevin Williamson (Dawson's Creek, The Faculty, Scream). It was also accused of being derivative of another teen vampire drama that was at the peak of its popularity. But Twilight is completing its cycle, meaning Mr Wesley is firmly in the business of starring in the next slavishly followed pop culture phenomenon. "We were able to carve a little niche," he says, adding that his character's tormented greaser style is beginning to affect him: "I've started wearing black biker boots non-stop, which is all Stefan wears..."

                                THE WORK

Naturally, for a show with a teenage target audience, there have been mall riots, including a particularly intense signing session in Atlanta, Georgia (where the show is filmed) in 2010. "They really love my character," Mr Wesley says of his fans, and then laughs. "It's overwhelming. I brought my little sisters to a signing. They know me as idiot Paul, brother, moron. When they saw all these girls getting really excited that I was there they couldn't fathom why anyone would be interested."

And what of his plans for the future? "We have six-year contracts. I hope the show will go on for that long but it's such a peculiar business," he says, adding that he would eventually like to get behind the camera. "I always thought The OCwould be on for years and then it got cancelled after the fourth season. We're all looking at other things to do in the future and searching for different roles," he continues.
