Elena's trying to put off talking about the kiss and this could lead Damon somewhere else -- according to TV Guide, he will end up waking up in bed with a female vampire, and all sorts of trouble will come out of it. Is this woman Katherine? Nina Dobrev wouldn't say, but she did drop a major hint:
"I can't say whether or not I'm in that scene, but it is a character fans are familiar with and Elena will definitely have an opinion on it."
While Caroline is also a possibility here, recent signs pound to Klaus trying to woo her in what could be the most fascinating romance the show has tried to pull off yet.
