Η Nina Dobrev μιλαει στο AOLTV για τον Alaric και για τον νεο ρολο που εχει στην 3η season και για για τον Jeremy και ολα αυτα που του συμβαίνουν με της επισκεψεις φαντασματων...
It's hard. They've grown closer because of it, but also it's very reminiscent of the first episode, when he and Elena lost their parents. They're at this point where you take one step forward and two steps back. It just hurts. But at the same time, just like the last time, Elena is trying to pull forward -- she recognizes that she can't just lay in bed and cry. She has to be proactive. So she has this mentality that she will plow forward and figure something out and she will smile and pretend everything's okay because there is no other option.
Does Elena know about the ghosts that are haunting Jeremy?
No. She's got so many other things, you know, and he hasn't even brought it up to her. In fact, he keeps it to himself because he's wondering, Is he going crazy? What's going on? Is he delusional? He doesn't even know what what's going on, so he isn't really talking to anyone about it.
What's going on with her relationship with Alaric?
Elena's relationship with Alaric definitely shifts. To begin with, he's her teacher/step-uncle/dad/question mark/now-dead aunt's friend/ex-boyfriend? It's just really complicated, and they both know it and it sucks. We kind of lived together but we kind of don't know each other and then we see each other at school. It's just a really uncomfortable situation, but luckily Matt Davis is fun to work with. He's crazy, but it's always fun.
I'm glad that he's going to be their guardian now, because how else would a teacher be able to hang out with a bunch of teenagers and not be creepy?
Right? Yeah. Because he's cute, that's why he's not creepy.
Elena, Bonnie and Caroline are bonding again and doing girl stuff. How is that playing out?
Whenever we have scenes with Bonnie and Caroline and Elena, just the girls, it's just so much fun to be on set together. It really is like girl time. On Labor Day every year, we have our annual girls weekend. No boys allowed. We always try to pick a different destination. We usually do a road trip where we will just be stuck in the car and talk for hours, and it's really really fun. Girl time is very important, I think.
Is it weird between Elena and Bonnie because Bonnie's dating her little brother?
I don't know, it was weird for like 12 seconds when she first told her, but then she got over it. I mean, Elena dated Matt, and then Caroline dated him, and now she's dating Tyler, and Bonnie's dating her brother, but Bonnie dated Anna, and before that his other vampire girlfriend died on Halloween. They can't hold any grudges or think about anything for too long because it's just too vapid. [Laughs]
That's how high school is in a small town anyway.
Sort of, minus the vampires, werewolves and ghosts.
