This season is ending in a HUGE way … and we have some spoilers to share that is going to suck the blood right out of you.

Prepare yourselves: This is Vampire Diaries, Season 3!

Some new spoilers have emerged from a source close to the VDproduction and the things they've shared about the final episodes of the VD season are going to send fans into a tizzy!

First — SPOILER ALERT — the Original Family is going nowhere fast, which sounds more like a good thing than bad, considering the exciting storylines they've got coming. Things will indeed be heating up for Klaus when his feelings for Caroline intensify and he makes more of a play for her affections. Of course, this doesn't sit well with her hybrid BF, Tyler, and there apparently is a big Klaus and Tyler coming in a future episode.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Damon's old pal (lover?) Sage stirs things up on Rebekah's end as the pair try to figure out her latest agenda. Of course, the fact that Sage has discovered the white oak tree that could kill her and Klaus will also play into her role in Mystic Falls. With his time spent between Sage and Rebekah, Delena fans might be fearing the worst … but they shouldn't! Not only will Elena be green with envy over Damon's new "friends," but the tension will INCREASE when Damon escorts Elena to the annual decade dance. This year's theme: the 20s!

While you shouldn't expect to see Katharine any time soon, you will get to see much more of the time gone by for the Salavtore brothers, including the years the boys spent apart from one another. In the present, it is made very clear that Meredith is NOT the serial killer, but who is will completely surprise you.

Finally, and this is a direct quote, the finale script is one that will "shock" fans to their core as Elena will "definitely make a choice," one that will impact the rest of the series.
