"The very first thing we see at the head of the next episode it's Alaric in the high school and Rebekah and Caroline are having a little post-dance cleanup and things only get worse from there," executive producer Julie Plec teases. Of course, Caroline is just bait for Elena, who's shocked to receive a call from her thought-to-be-dead former guardian.
